Intelligent Fiber Network (IFN), provider of high-speed fiber optic connectivity to members, customers and partners across the state of Indiana, has announced recent elections to its seven-member board of managers. Randy Mead and Mark Grady have been elected and re-elected to the board, respectively.
IFN also announced the election of board officers. Chad Miles was re-elected chairman of the board and James Dauby was elected vice chairman of the board.
Mead, the general manager at LigTel Communications, a family-owned company committed to providing high-speed internet, digital TV and telephone services to northeastern Indiana, is excited to join the future trajectory of IFN and continue the innovative work of previous board members. With over 30 years of activity in the industry including serving as general manager of Mud Lake Telephone and High Plains Propane in Idaho, Mead is excited about the opportunity to help IFN continue to expand and transform the ways communities connect.
As a re-elected board member and one of the initial founders of IFN, Grady, President of INdigital, has also been with New Paris Telephone for 36 years. New Paris is a community and employee owned company involved in multiple aspects of technology. He will continue to bring his extensive and diverse industry experience at all levels of the telecom and public safety industry to aid in the connection of Indiana businesses. He has served on more than 50 industry task forces, study committees, work committees and other industry association roles at the state and federal levels.

Dauby, President and CEO of Perry-Spencer Rural Telephone Cooperative d/b/a PSC is helping lead and shape industry change for the benefit of rural telecommunications providers through his role as vice chairman of the IFN board of directors. His involvement in the industry includes board and committee positions for National Telecommunications Cooperative Association (NTCA), Indiana Video Network, LLC (IVN), Indiana Broadband and Technology Association (IBTA) and Indiana Exchange Carrier Association (INECA). “As one of IFN’s founding members, I am proud of our success-to-date and look forward to continuing that success with IFN board and staff as we execute our growth and expansion plans,” said Dauby. “It’s a great team.”
