At IFN, we are dedicated to bridging the digital divide between urban and rural businesses in Indiana. As part of our effort to bring fast and reliable connectivity to businesses in all parts of the state, we have connected our network to various fiber-ready sites to ramp up rural business productivity throughout the state. If you know your way around the IFN blog, you know this means we’re onto the next site in our fiber-ready series. We’ve covered everywhere from Johnson County to Tipton County, and now we’re ready to bring you something new.
Next up on our list is Hamilton County, with sites installed in both Noblesville and Westfield. These cities have a total of 26 fiber-optic locations featuring high-bandwidth internet services at a low cost. Surrounding Indiana businesses can connect to the 186 miles of fiber that have been installed. IFN has put $12 million in capital investment into the area since its inception in 2002. There are currently 950 buildings located near IFN’s backbone in Hamilton County.
“Intelligent Fiber Network strives to be the Hoosier state’s first choice of businesses for fast, always-on, fiber connection,” said IFN CEO Jim Turner. “We’re thrilled to be bringing high-speed connectivity to those in Hamilton County, who will use broadband to grow their organizations for years to come.”
