“Yes, numbers get crunched. But my job covers much more than that,” said Ralph Cunha.
In his roles as both VP of Finance and CFO, Ralph’s background in finance, operations, accounting, regulatory and government affairs, and business strategy have served him—and IFN—well.
With a BS in Accounting from Plymouth State University and an MBA from the University of Indianapolis, Ralph began his industry career at KLP, a certified public accounting firm specializing in the telecommunications industry. On the road to IFN, he served as President and board member of the Indiana Exchange Carrier Association, and President/CEO of Endeavor Communications, the state’s largest rural local exchange carrier cooperative. Ralph had previously served Endeavor in the roles of Vice President of Finance/CFO and Controller. At Endeavor, he was part of a team that planned, engineered, constructed, and installed more than 2,000 miles of fiber across nine telecommunications exchanges and eight counties in Indiana.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Global Management Accountant, Ralph is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Indiana CPA Society.
Giving back to the industry and the community have always been a priority for Ralph, who has served on many boards and committees including the Intelligent Fiber Network, Indiana Video Network, Indiana Broadband & Technology Association, Indiana TelPAC, NTCA-The Rural Broadband Association Government Affairs Committee, NTCA Rural Broadband PAC, Morgan County Economic Development Corporation, and 100+ Men of Putnam County.
He also served as Treasurer of the Indiana Exchange Carrier Association and President of the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center.
